Pricing News from the Market Floor for November

 

Bananas –  Are now in good supply with prices moderating.

Avocados –  Light to moderate supply at steady values.

Strawberries – Good supply from Victorian growing areas. Prices are very reasonable.

Cherries – In light supply but increasing each week. Values will start to come down as soon as more supply is available.

Peaches/Nectarines/Apricots – In light to moderate supply. Values are steady.

Asparagus – In moderate supply and values steady.

Beans/Peas – In moderate supply. Values have adjusted to a reasonable level.

Tomatoes – In moderate supply but interstate growing areas are now starting to decrease production and values will respond accordingly.

Blueberries/Blackberries/Raspberries – In moderate supply and values steady.

Potatoes – In lighter supply than usual and prices are higher.

Broccoli and Cauliflowers – Moderate supply at steady prices.

Capsicums/Zucchini – Moderate to good supply and prices are widening depending on quality.

Mangoes – Very good supply from Queensland and Northern Territory. Prices are attractive.
